Overview
Sturdy working platforms
A platform makes installing the wind wheel and servicing it each year far easier, and it rounds off the look of the whole system. Both of our platform models are built from very sturdy, thick steel that guarantees safety and durability for years to come.

Why fit a platform?
A wind-powered water pump with a platform simply looks more complete and more attractive. More importantly, that working surface makes installation and the annual service of the wind wheel far easier. Remember that the wind wheel sits at the very top of the lattice tower, at a height of between 6 and 18 m. Without somewhere safe to stand, working with a grease gun up there is awkward and can even be dangerous. Both of our platform models are built from very sturdy, thick steel that guarantees safety and durability for years to come.
The large wrap-around platform with handrail
Permanently mounted working platforms sit in harmony with the lattice tower. They let you install the wind wheel safely and make the annual service that follows far simpler: without a platform, that work would call for a cherry picker or a fair amount of acrobatics. This green platform with handrail comes as standard on all models from the W 4012 upwards, and it can be ordered as an option for the W 3009/12/15 (recommended). It is made up of segments light enough to be carried by hand, and they ship worldwide together with the wind pump in our packing crate.
The small platform without handrail
Our small, rectangular working platform can be ordered as an option with the W 1806/09, and we recommend it, because it gives you somewhere safe to stand and sit during installation. Two support profiles are fixed to opposite sides of the lattice tower, the platform segments are laid on top and each is fastened with four bolts. On the W 1806 the large round platform is usually too big (the proportions no longer work), while from the W 3009/12/15 series upwards it is the standard choice.
