The W 4012 is our popular all-round model. The 4 m wind wheel at a height of 12 m produces 4,018 watts and pumps up to 8,200 litres per hour from a depth of 36 metres at 12 m/s, complete with lattice tower, platform, piston pump, storm protection and braking system.

A closer look at the system
System description
The wind wheel sits at a height of 12 m, measures 4 m across and produces up to 4,018 watts. For safe maintenance, the system comes with a walk-on platform and railing. From a depth of 36 m it delivers up to 8,200 litres of water per hour at 12 m/s; at shallower depths, up to 20,000 l/h is possible.
The wind wheel
The yellow wind wheel faces the wind with an impressive 4 m diameter and generates up to 4,018 watts at 12 m/s. The braking system and grease nipples sit behind the wheel; braking is done conveniently from the foot of the tower using the hand brake.
Lattice tower & foundations
The 12 m green lattice tower carries the wind wheel safely and is positioned centrally over the well or borehole. A crane is recommended for a swift installation. Leg spacing 2,463 mm, diagonal 3,483 mm. The four legs need concrete foundations measuring 800 × 800 mm each and 1,500 mm deep; reinforcing bars and bolts are included in the scope of delivery.
Scope of delivery & price
Delivery includes the wind wheel, braking system, storm protection, lattice tower, foundation accessories, piston pump, galvanised water pipes and installation instructions. Every quotation is individual, based on the pump and the well depth: for the W 4012, expect a price from €18,000, with an average of around €24,000 per system.
