The W 7018 is a truly powerful workhorse and the second largest wind-powered water pump in our range. The 7 m yellow wind wheel at a height of 18 m generates up to 12,340 watts and lifts groundwater to a nearby biotope or fruit plantation, for example.

The installation in detail
Description of the installation
At a height of 18 m sits the wind wheel, 7 m in diameter and rated at up to 12,340 watts. For safe installation and maintenance, the system comes with two walk-on circular platforms with railings, reached by a ladder fixed to the tower. For safety reasons the wind wheel must be braked before you step onto the platforms.
Output & use
From a depth of 48 m the system delivers up to 16,200 litres of water per hour at 12 m/s. The wheel starts turning and pumping water from as little as 4 m/s of wind. That is what wins over farmers, livestock breeders, vegetable growers and municipalities, along with the sheer range of possible applications.
Lattice tower & foundations
The green lattice tower carries the wind wheel safely at 18 m and is positioned centrally over the well or borehole. At this height we recommend installation with a crane. Base width 3,590 mm, diagonal 5,077 mm. The four legs require concrete foundations measuring 800 × 800 mm each and 2,000 mm deep; reinforcing bars and bolts are included.
Scope of delivery & price
The delivery comprises the wind wheel, braking system, storm protection, lattice tower, foundation accessories, piston pump, galvanised water pipes and pump rod. Depending on the well depth, you should budget from €50,000 (on request).
